Delivery and Returns Policy
Shipping costs, delivery and deadlines
The products are delivered by La Poste in Colissimo for France and abroad.
The products are dispatched at the latest within two working days following the order.
Delivery times are:
- For metropolitan France, maximum of 48 hours after delivery of the package to La Poste.
- For Dom Tom, maximum D + 10 after delivery of the package to La Poste.
- For Europe, maximum D + 3 to D + 10 (depending on the geographical area) after delivery of the package to La Poste.
Delivery times are given as an indication, they are the responsibility of La Poste.
Shipping costs are offered for France, Dom Tom and the European Union, for a minimum of 50€, below this amount shipping costs of 7€ (at the time of writing this document) will be applied for all the aforementioned destinations.
Our shipping boxes cannot contain more than 3 products (perfume and/or candle). To this end, beyond 3 products, the delivery may be the subject of several packages.

In any case, in the event of an order to a country that is not a member of the European Union, the customer is the importer of the products concerned. Customs duties or other local taxes may be payable, these customs duties are then the responsibility of the customer. Exceeding delivery times cannot give rise to damages.
The delivery of the items is made to the address indicated by the customer at the time of his order (or notice of availability in the absence of the customer).
It is up to the customer to check the condition of the packaging and the contents of the packages upon receipt of the goods and to make reservations on the delivery note if the package appears to have been opened or damaged. The signature, without reservation, of the delivery receipt by the customer will imply acceptance of the latter.
Under no circumstances can Taraka Tradition et Parfums be held responsible for damage to the quality of the products and their packaging caused by transport.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L.121-20-3 of the Consumer Code, the delivery of the items ordered will take place no later than 30 days from the day following the order, subject to full payment of the price. The delivery time varies depending on the type of port and the place of delivery. It runs from the receipt of payment or bank authorization.
Cancellation / Withdrawal / Return
Any request for cancellation of an order must be made before the shipment of the products, to be taken into consideration and at the latest 24 hours before the date of departure of the packages. This cancellation must be made directly to Taraka Tradition et Parfums customer service by telephone on + 33 (0)1 42 42 64 56 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article L.121-20 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of seven clear days from the delivery of his order to return the item(s) for exchange or refund, to the customer's choice, without penalties except for return costs.
The customer must inform Taraka Tradition et Parfums customer service in writing (email: via our contact form in the “Contact” section, or letter) of their decision, before returning the goods. The return costs will be borne by the customer. The value of the returned products will be refunded to the customer, excluding the initial transport costs, without delay and at the latest within thirty days following the date on which the right of withdrawal has been exercised. In the event of an exchange, the return and shipping costs of the products chosen as replacements will be borne by Taraka Tradition et Parfums.
Return of non-compliant or damaged products
In the event that one or more products do not comply with the customer's order or are defective, spoiled or damaged, the customer must then immediately inform Taraka Tradition et Parfums and must return them at the latter's expense and within a period of 30 days from the delivery of his order. The replacement product(s) will be sent back to the customer at the expense of Taraka Tradition et Parfums. In the event that the returned product(s) are no longer available, Taraka Tradition et Parfums will inform the customer and reimburse the customer for the amount of said products.
For health and safety reasons, any unsealed product cannot be discarded.
